FITNESS – ‘exercise efforts to improve and maintain your physical health and fitness levels’
The above describes what is the purpose of Fitness for some, although it would largely depend on each individual. But as a general rule, and in the round, we should all endeavour into old age with some activities that aid movement, to keep the synovial fluids protecting your joints, and help your homeostasis.
Our programmed training does just that, as part of our regular sessions we have built a complete workout from start to finish. With a session breakdown we complete skill acquirement, along with aerobic and anaerobic exercise, which ensures optimum heart rate activity, of course with a planned optimal food intake. Our sessions are indeed challenging enough, without being over stressed, a very important factor.
Exercise Goals
Fat Loss – ‘ to reduce and improve body fat content, so much as to improve overall health by cleaning up your endocrine system’
There appears to be some confusion on what goals the individual wants to achieve when it comes to weight loss, for me the goal should be fat loss, having been incapacitated myself for many years due to a car accident, as a consequence of injuries to my knee and shoulder I quickly became inactive, and over few year put on over 130lbs/58kg, and acquired Type 2 diabetes – the only saving grace was I was given an abundance of time to study fitness and health, and to objectively view the many opinions and advisory services in our society. Fortunately with the help of my studies / qualifications, life’s experiences and the contemporary education of my many tutors, I was able to gather momentum in changing my situation, I not only lost the 58kg, but astonishingly I eventually reversed my diabetes …!
Fat loss is the one area that should be focussed upon, both in our day to day food needs, integrated with a suitable physical exercise programme. What most people fail to recognise there is a synergistic effect which happens when combining balanced food and exercise together, an optimising of hormones takes place where the individual starts to feel other improvements aside of fitter and weight loss; ie sleep, energy, clear thinking, internal functioning, also longevity can be improved by the clean and balanced food intake.
This subject alone cannot be discussed enough in a short paragraph, but it can be highlighted on its many many interesting points. Having made studies over many decades and been an active sportsman in several activities, one as a head principal of an international self-defence organisation, and as a fully qualified Physical training coach and the head tutor of a private training provider – I endeavour to deliver my perception to our learners.
